biography
A B.A. in Physics from Carleton College prepares me for advances in the engineering profession. B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering included computer engineering, RF, and an interdisciplinary program that now leads to degrees in Biomedical Engineering. ¶ I located in Medical Alley country in Minnesota, to participate in medical device research and development. In industry I found broader demand than this, training, and experience in comprehensive, electrical engineering skills. Further graduate study emphasized R&D and medical applications. ¶ Ongoing, professional development includes activities of the IEEE, INCOSE, Altium Designer and SolidWorks vendors, and communities supporting product innovation startups.
