Scott Lefton has been an engineering design consultant for about 20 years, specializing in mechanical and new product design with an emphasis on small and portable electronic devices. He is named as an inventor on various patents. His work includes prototype fabrication using manual and CNC machinery, as well as a variety of 3D printers. He is also a Registered Patent Agent. Prior to his consulting career, he managed the engineering department for a music electronics company, designed data conversion ICs, and designed motor control ICs. His other interests include creating highly technical sculptural art in glass, metal, and wood. He is occasionally serious about photography, and uses digital photos as raw material for creating images of things that never existed.
