40 year experience in sensor design: acoustics, ultrasonics, electromagnetics. Granted 52 US patents and published more than 50 papers, with laboratory equipment and tools available for customer request of prototyping/experiment/measurement. Building ~700 programs of Mason models for arbitrary front and back multilayer ultrasonic transducer design including mass-spring model (invented) and multilayer absorber without powder/polymer mixture (invented) feasible for wideband performance and with low production cost, matching layer design for metal protected industrial transducer, new design principle of matching layer for air transducer (pointing out negligible effect of air loading to impedance design). Electrical matching networks different for transmitter and receiver, combined with TR switch for echo detection by single transducer leading to much higher sensitivity (x10) with wider bandwidth. Air ultrasonic transducer at lower frequency (30 � 80 kHz) including cylindrical PVDF film, large area corrugated PVDF film transducers, symmetric reflector doubling output power with doubling transducer efficiency, arbitrary multilayer design of PVDF sensor and actuator (low frequency), tuning fork design of LiNbO3 vibrator sensor for oil viscosity (~30kHz).

Additional Specialities

Wrote 700 of MATLAB programs for simulations, i.e multilayer thickness mode, length mode, cylindrical film, multilayer bending mode. Great numbers of measurement equipment, fabrication tools, piezoelectric materials are available for project of customer's request.
