Our consulting customers are typically in the top 3 in their industry, rely heavily on electromechanical systems to drive their products but their supply base is unable to either address current problems or deliver compelling solutions for future products. Our services span from concept feasibility studies, simulation and failure analysis, through prototyping, testing, detailed 3D/2D design and testing, to supplier selection, line and process set-up, sample builds and post-production audits. For 3-D/2-D and mechanical simulation work we typically use Solidworks but we routinely import and export in other formats to suit customer needs. We use Magneforce software for motor simulation (AC, DC and Brushless) and various packages for data analysis and plotting. Projects are scoped out and managed using MS Project and we also use One Page Project Manager software for updating customers.
