BSEE Univ. Washington (1956); Ph.D. EE, Univ. Calif. Berkeley (1961). NSF Fellow (1962). Asst. Prof. New York Univ. (1963-1965). SRI Intl. Menlo Park, CA (1965-1997), ending as Deputy Director, of Applied Electromagnetics and Optics Laboratory in Engineering Division, where worked on RF antenna and propagation issues, plasma interactions, EMI, EMC, RFI, EMP, HPM, electrical and multipactor breakdown. Consultant 1998 to present, primarily on voltage breakdown issues, particularly for spacecraft RF and LF/DC components.
