Inaugural IEEE PELS TC4 Mentorship Luncheon at ITEC 2023
The inaugural TC4 mentorship event was first held at ITEC 2023 as a luncheon in the format of six casual, interactive roundtables. Each roundtable was hosted by one mentor on the following topics:
1) Career and Research while at School

2) Career at Industry
- How to write good resumes, get internships; hosted by Kent Wanner Sr. Staff Electrification Application Engineer John Deere Electrification Engineering Fellow
- How to develop career paths in industry; hosted by Dr. Pradeep Shenoy, General Manager, Power Design Services, Texas Instruments
3) Academia or Industry
- What are careers in academia and industry really look like; hosted by Professor Dan Ionel, L. Stanley Pigman Chair in Power, University of Kentucky, IEEE Fellow
- Career changes between industry and academia; hosted by Professor Hao Huang, Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Engineering, University of Houston; Retired Technology Chief, GE Aviation; IEEE Fellow, NAE Member
