Biography
Zhi "George" Gao received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia. George has 15+ years of industry experience in product engineering, project management, applied research and technical services. He has taken technical and leadership responsibilities with progressively increasing levels of complexity and importance at Schneider Electric and Eaton in motor control centers, motor diagnostics, low-voltage ac drives, solid-state soft starters, power quality meters and protective relays. George holds 24 issued and pending U.S. and European patents, and has authored/co-authored 30+ refereed technical articles.
