Wong was the team leader for Team 11 (known as Double-One) , one of the winning teams in the VoLT 2018. Wong wears many hats. He works for the Global 500 companies, participated in many forums and recently he contributed to the UN's World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO) published the Big Data and AI Principles in Engineering 2020. Wong joined IEEE since 2005 and has been a committee member of Region 8 UK and Region 10 Australia. Currently Wong is an ambassador of the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering, elected fellow of the Royal Society of Arts UK and a mentor for the young engineers and leaders of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
