Joshua Marshall
Biography
Joshua Marshall is a full Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and leader of the multidisciplinary Offroad Robotics research group in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at Queen's University, Kingston, Canada. He is also Director at the Ingenuity Labs Research Institute. In 2016-17 he was the International Visiting Professor of Computer Science at the Centre for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS) in the School of Science and Technology at Orebro University, Sweden. He received the M.Sc.(Eng.) degree in mechanical engineering from Queen's University and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering, with a specialty in systems control, from the University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada. Dr. Marshall is a Senior Member of the IEEE an a licensed Professional Engineer in the Canadian province of Ontario. His research focuses on control and navigation for mobile robotics in harsh-environment applications.
