I'm a systems engineer of the Universidad Industrial de Santander in Bucaramanga, Colombia, MSc in computer science from the University of Grenoble, and Doctor in informatics of the Université de Nice-Côte d'Azur in France . I'm Researcher in High Performance, Advanced Computing, High Scale (Scalable), Distributed, and Scientific Computing with special interest in new computer architectures. I'm responsible for High Performance and Scientific Computing and associate professor in the Systems and Informatics Engineering School of the Universidad Industrial de Santander. I'm a Leader in Latin America's HPC and Advanced Computing / Information Technology. I'm the co-founder of the Latin American Conference on HPC (CARLA - www.ccarla.org) and the Supercomputing and Distributed Computing Camping School SCCAMP (www.sc-camp:org) co-chair of different initiatives as the Latin America and Europe HPC Collaboration and the Americas HPC Collaboration.
