I am a wireless telecommunications engineer with more than ten years of industry experience in cellular mobile telecommunication technologies and software product management. I have a Master’s degree in business administration (MBA-2008), a Master’s degree in mobile telecommunications (MS-2003), and a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BEE-2002). Over the years, I have been involved in various management, research, development, and marketing activities in the fields of SON (self-organizing networks), LTE, UMTS, WiMAX, Wi-Fi, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, other wireless telecommunication technologies, and radio network planning and optimisation in general. I am currently a senior member of the IEEE and have in the past been affiliated with the WiMAX Forum. I am also indirectly participating in discussions within the 3GPP working groups, more specifically in the new SA5 initiative on the definition of a standard radio planning tool interface.
