Biography
Wilmer Azurza is a Telecommunications Engineer with over 15 years of experience. He is a member of the Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú and holds a Master's degree in Strategic Telecommunications Management, a Master's in E-Business, and postgraduate studies in Governance, Public Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, Smart Cities and Cybersecurity. Currently, he serves as the President of the Multisectoral Commission for Spectrum Planning and Management in Peru and is the Coordinator of Networks and Radio Spectrum Management in the General Directorate of Policies and Regulation in Communications at the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Peru. He is the head of delegation in various meetings of ITU, CITEL-OAS, Andean Community, and Pacific Alliance. Additionally, he holds leadership positions in several commissions and committees focused on broadband Internet, spectrum management, fiber optics, satellite communications, and Smart Cities within ITU, CITEL-OAS, and CIP.
