Biography
Vikram Krishnamurthy received the Ph.D. degree from the Australian National University in 1992. He is currently a professor in the School of Electrical Computer Engineering, Cornell University. From 2002-2016 he was a Professor and Canada Research Chair at the University of British Columbia, Canada. His research interests include statistical signal processing and stochastic control in social networks and adaptive sensing. He served as Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Signal Processing Society and Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Journal on Selected Topics in Signal Processing. He served as Technical co-chair of ICASSP 2013 in Vancouver Canada. In 2013, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from KTH (Royal Institute of Technology), Sweden. He is author of the book Partially Observed Markov Decision Processes and published by Cambridge University Press in 2016.
