Trevor Allen (M’99–SM’14) received the B.S. degree in mathematics from the University of Oregon in 1989, the M.S. degree in applied mathematics from Santa Clara University in 1994, the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Portland State University in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2017. He is a Senior Principal DSP Engineer with General Dynamics, Scottsdale, AZ, USA. He was involved in industry for over 30 years developing algorithms for signal detection, reception, and parameter estimation. His research interests are in the areas of wireless communications, signal detection, and estimation theory.
