Dr. Sudhir K. Routray received his B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Utkal University, India; his MS degree in Data Communications from Sheffield University, UK; and Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering form the University of Aveiro, Aveiro, Portugal. He has worked as a lecturer in Biju Pattnaik Technical University, Rourkela, India; Swami Vivekananda University of Technology, Bhilai, India; and Eritrea Institute of Technology, Mai Nefhi, Eritrea. He joined the Institute of Telecommunications, Aveiro, in 2011 and worked there till July 2015. His research interests are: IOT, 5G, optical transparent networks and statistical analysis of communication networks. He is a senior member of IEEE. Dr. Routray is currently working as a Professor at CMR University, Bangalore. Prior to that he worked as an associate professor at Addis Ababa Science and technology University, Ethiopia, and CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India with a small stint at P S Stats, Cuttack, India.
