Saeid Homayouni received the B.Sc. in Surveying & Geomatics Eng. from the U. of Isfahan, Iran, in 1996, the M.Sc. in Remote Sensing & GIS from Tarbiat Modaress University, Tehran, Iran, in 1999, and the Ph.D. in Signal & Image from Telecom of Paris, France, in 2006. He worked as a post-doc fellow in Signal & Image Lab. of the U. of Bordeaux, France, from 2006 to 2007. From 2008 to 2011, he was with the Dept. of Geomatics & Surveying, College of Engineering, at the U. of Tehran, Iran, as an assistant professor, and then from 2011 to 2013, he worked as an NSERC research fellow with Ottawa Research & Development Center of Agriculture Canada. In 2013, he joined the Dept. of Geography, Environment, and Geomatics of the U. of Ottawa, as an assistant professor, and worked as a senior research associate and adjunct professor until 2019. He recently started an associate professor position at the Center Eau Terre Environment at the INRS in Quebec, Canada.
