Sina Khorasani received the B.Sc. degree in 1995, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in 1996 and 2001, respectively, all in electrical engineering. He was a full professor at Sharif University of Technology until June 2016, and has held various appointments at Georgia Institute of Technology (2002-2004; 2011-2012), Grenoble Institute of Technology (2008), Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (2016-2017) and Vienna Center for Quantum Science and Technology (2017-2018). His active research areas include nonlinear quantum physics, 2D materials, and nanoelectronics. His personal interests include classical piano and music, calligraphy, swimming and running. Dr. Khorasani is a Senior Member of IEEE.
