Russell began his career in the electrical construction industry as an apprentice electrician. The licensure process required technical training in electrical theory. He chose to attend Norwalk State Technical College and obtained an ASEET degree. While working as an electrician, he earned his journeyman’s and contractor’s license. He worked for contractors and industrial manufacturers as an electrician. Russell earned his BS degree in Electrical Engineering-Power Systems at the University of New Haven and is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states. Russell has experience engineering, design, commissioning and constructing industrial power systems. He has engineered systems for data centers, clean rooms, wastewater treatment, water treatment, central chiller and boiler plants, co-generation, PV systems and medium voltage distribution.
