Professor and researcher in the area of power and energy systems, focusing on the theme Energy and Environment. Teaches energy conversion disciplines, energy efficiency and applied electricity, operates in the development of solutions in energy efficiency, power quality and integrated energy planning. He has a degree and a Doctor in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará and an MBA in Management and Environmental Technology from the University of Sao Paulo. Member of the Industry Applications Society and Power and Energy Society and member of the Brazilian Society of Power Quality. Was chief secretary of the Association of Energy Efficiency in the 2007-2009 period, Energy Efficiency Program consultant ANEEL since 2004, having held dozens of energy diagnoses in industrial, commercial and public buildings consumer units.
