Maria Feldgen has a degree in Scientific Computing (Licentiate in Computer Science), University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina, and is an International Engineering Educator "ING-PAED IGIP". Retired full-time professor of computer engineering and researcher at the School of Engineering of UBA with more than 35 years of experience in engineering education, networked complex systems and digitization of cultural heritage. Member of advisory boards on engineering competencies and institutional transformation in Argentina and Latin America. Member of IEEE Education Society since 1998 and member of BoG (2021-2023), IEEE EDUNINE Technical Chair (Region 9 Conference) since 2019 and was 2018 Conference Chair. Founder of Argentina Education Society Chapter and has been President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Member of conference program committees, has been conference chair, author and reviewer for FIE, ACM and others. She has received several IEEE awards.
