Biography
Marco Ottavi is an Associate Professor at the University “Tor Vergata” and University of Twente. Before he was a Research Professor as the recipient of a “rientro dei cervelli” fellowship awarded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research. He previously worked as a Senior Design Engineer at AMD. He held postdoc positions with Sandia National Laboratories and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Northeastern University in Boston. He received a Ph.D. in Microelectronics and Telecommunications Engineering from University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and a Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering from University of Rome “La Sapienza”. His research interests include yield and reliability modeling, fault-tolerant architectures, online testing, and nanoscale circuits and systems design.
