Biography

Marco Mussetta is Full Professor of Electrical Engineering in Politecnico di Milano, Italy. He received the M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and the Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2003 and 2007 respectively. In 2006, he has been a Visiting Ph.D. Student at the State Key Lab of mm-Waves of Southeast University in Nanjing. From 2008 to 2011 he was a Research Assistant at the Department of Electronics of Politecnico di Torino. In March 2011 he joined the Department of Energy, Politecnico di Milano, as an assistant professor. Since 2015 he is an Associate Professor in the same Department. Since 2022 he is the Coordinator of the PhD Program in Electrical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. Since 2023 he is Full Professor of Electrical Engineering. His research activities include computational intelligence techniques applied to antennas design, wireless sensor networks, modeling and optimization of renewable energy systems.
