Maaruf Ali is currently working as a Lecturer at the Canadian Institute of Technology in Tirana, Albania, in Computing and Electronics, which he joined in October, 2022. He has over 20 years of teaching experience, 18 being at various English universities including: a year teaching Vodafone and Motorola Engineering; over two years in Saudi Arabia and China. He has published over 160 research papers. His recent experiences include being the: Programme Leader in Mobile Computing and Communications at Hangzhou Dianzi University (China) for the University of East London (UK) and the Acting Vice Dean of Scientific Research at the University of Hail (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) for the College of Computer Science and Engineering. Maaruf has also been an external examiner in Computer Science for Middlesex University (UK), HKUSPACE (Hong Kong) and the Dublin Institute of Technology (Republic of Ireland) as well as a Programme Validator for Kaplan Institute (Singapore).
