After graduating from Department of Geological Engineering of Cumhuriyet University in 1989, I was appointed as a research assistant. I completed my master's degree in 1992 and my doctorate degree in 1998 at the Institute of Science and Technology of the same university. In 2000, I worked on Murray State University / Kentucky (USA) with the 6-month TUBITAK NATO B1 scholarship and on the geological applications of structural geology-tectonic and remote sensing in Paris-Sud University in France in 1995, 2006. In 2005, M. Kemal Dedeman Research and Development Project Contest Third Prize in the 'Turkey Location Determination on the top of the Remote Sensing Mineral Potential "I won my title work. In 2005, I was promoted to associate professor and in 2010, I became a professor. Then I was assigned to Department of Geological Engineering Istanbul Technical University for one year
