He has been working for 29 years in the computer and telecommunication industries as a practitioner (IRIS, Datacenter Dynamics, Telmex, IFE, DICINET) as well as in universities as a tenured or invited Professor (UPS, UAM, UDEFA, UACM, BUAP, UPAEP, UTM). Since 2008 he works for The Autonomous University of Mexico City (UACM). He is director of ADVNETLAB at UACM. He has authored 58 journal and conference papers, organized multidisciplinar congresses, seminars and other. He is IEEE Senior Member and Computer Soc. DVP 2015-2017. Also CS BoG Member(11-14), Volunter for Computer Soc., COMSOC and MGA R9 since 2007. Director Elect for IEEE R9 (Latin America) 2024-2025. He is a member of state and national research and academic networks and has been a Consultant for companies and government. He received a BS in electronic sciences, with honors, & M.Sc. in electronic devices, both from the Autonomous University of Puebla (BUAP).
