Biography
J.J.H. Paulides B.Eng/M.Phil/Ph.D. from The University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K. Since 2005, has been Research Associate and since 2009 to 2017 a part-time assistant professor at Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands. He is the CEO of the AE-group (www.ae-grp.nl). His research activities span all facets of low frequency electromagnetic computation. As such, he specializes in three very suitable (semi-)analytical techniques as a basis for future component design and strives to stretch the boundaries of analytical and multi-disciplinary research to design new electrical devices for various applications with particular emphasis on how these devices enable sustainability and their uniqueness in terms of multi-disciplinary research. He is an author/co-author of more than 200 international publications, various patents, IEEE editor for INTERMAG and a chairman, program member/session organizer of conferences
