Biography
Hausi A. Muller is a professor of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering & Computer Science, University of Victoria, Canada. He received the 2024 IEEE Computer Society (CS) Technical & Conference (T&C) Activities Board Distinguished Leadership Award "for unwavering commitment and exceptional contributions to software engineering, quantum computing, and IEEE CS's technical activities". He is Chair of IEEE Quantum Technical Community (QTC). He is Steering Committee Chair and co-founder of IEEE International Conference on Quantum Computing & Engineering (QCE), which won the 2023 IEEE iCON Award. He served on IEEE Conferences Committee (2019-21). He was VP of IEEE CS T&C Board (2016-18), Member of CS Board of Governors (2015-17), Chair of TCSE, CS Technical Council on Software Engineering (2011-2015). He collaborates with industry as an international expert in software engineering, quantum computing, adaptive systems, and cyber-physical systems.
