Guennadi A. Kouzaev received the Ph.D. degree in Physics and Mathematics from the Kotelnikov’s Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics, USSR Academy of Sciences, Moscow, in 1986. He also has a Doctor of Sciences degree (1998) in Electrical Engineering from the Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (Technical University) – MSIEM(TU). From 1984 to 1989, he was with the Research Institute of Space Instrument Design, Moscow. From 1989 to 2000, he was with the MSIEM(TU) as a Senior Researcher, an Assoc. Professor (1993-1999), and a Full Professor (1999-2000). Currently, he is a Professor at the Dept. of Electronic Systems of Norwegian University of Science and Technology-NTNU. He is an author of more than 200 publications. His research interests are in electromagnetics, quantum physics, molecular dynamics, and computers. He was a recipient of a 1997 Russian Government Prize, and a 1990 Soviet Union Prize for Young Scientists.
