Biography
Gloria Menegaz is a Professor of Bioengineering at the Dept. of Engineering for Innovation Medicine of the University of Verona (Italy). She joined the Dept. in Oct. 2007 as an Associate Professor, after spending three years (2004 2007) at the Dept. of Inf. Eng. of the University of Siena, Italy, as an Assistant Professor thanks to a grant from the Italian Ministry for University and Research (MIUR) (DM 20/03/2003 n. 501, Brain Drain intiative, now Rita Levi Montalcini program https://bandomontalcini.cineca.it/). From 2002 to 2004 she was Assistant Professor (Maitre Assistante) at the Dept. of Computer Science of University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and before that she was first research assistant at the Audiovisual Communications Lab. (LCAV) of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) (2000-2002). She obtained the PhD in Applied Sciences at the Signal Processing Lab. (LTS-EPFL) in July 2000.
