Prof. Francesco Grasso

Biography
Francesco Grasso received his master's degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Florence in 2000. In 2002 he obtained the title of PhD in Electronic Devices and Circuits and, since 2005, he has been a University Researcher at the Department of Engineering of Information from the University of Florence. Furthermore, he is Assistant Professor of Electrical Circuits and Systems for Smart Grids at the School of Engineering of the University of Florence. His research interests concern the areas of Power Quality and Smart Grids, fault diagnosis and design centering in analog circuits, modeling and control of static power converters, through the use of artificial intelligence techniques. He is the author of numerous scientific publications in national and international journals and specialized conferences. He is scientific head of the Smart Energy Lab, a joint laboratory of the University of Florence for Power Quality in Electrical Systems.
