Fatih Erden received the B.Sc. degree from the Electronics Engineering Department, Turkish Naval Academy (TNA), Istanbul, Turkiye, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Electronics Engineering Department, Gebze Technical University, Kocaeli, Turkiye. From 2011 to 2012, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA, and the University of California, Irvine, CA, USA, in 2017. He is currently an associate professor of electrical and electronics engineering at the Turkish Naval Academy of the National Defence University with the rank of Navy Captain (OF-5). His current research interest includes time-domain electromagnetics and the evolutionary approach. He is a Senior Member of both the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the International Union of Radio Science (URSI); and a member of the Italian Society of Electromagnetism (SIEm).
