David Burger Chaired the 2014/2015 IEEE History Committee with member roles since 2009. He is Past-Chair of the NSW Section, and has held section committee roles since 1998. David has been an IEEE member for 40 years, and a member of the Communications Society for 31 years. David has an active interest in amateur radio, with licences in Australia, USA and New Zealand. David is currently employed by Tyco Integrated Security on national counter-terrorism initiatives.
