Biography
Christopher J. Struck is CEO and Chief Scientist of CJS Labs in San Francisco and the Standards Director of the Acoustical Society of America. He holds an engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin and completed programs at the Stanford/AeA Executive Institute and the Center for Creative Leadership. Mr. Struck worked for Brüel & Kjær, Denmark, developing the Type 4128 Head and Torso Simulator and the Type 2012 Audio Analyzer. He was Principal Consultant at Charles M. Salter Associates and Manager of Electroacoustics in the Research Group at GN ReSound, developing novel signal processing hearing devices. He was Director of Engineering at Dolby Laboratories and VP of Engineering at Tymphany Corporation, He is a Fellow of the AES and of the ASA. He is active in IEEE, IEC, ISO, ANSI and AES standards and is the author of many technical papers.
