Carlos E. Jimenez Gomez
Biography
Carlos E. Jimenez-Gomez is a Digital Justice and Government Digital Transformation senior specialist with more than 30 years of expertise in the public sector. As consultant, he has participated in strategic projects at national and international level. He is co-author of the Ibero-American eGovernment Interoperability Framework, document signed officially by 21 countries. He has a MSc. in Data Science, a MA. in Information and Knowledge Society, a BEng. in Computer Science, and a PgDip in Management Information Systems, in addition to Dip. in e-Government Strategies, Law & Emergent Technologies. He is currently serving as member of the Board of Governors of the IEEE Computer Society (2019-2021; 2022-2024) and Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology since 2016. Previously, he was Distinguished Visitor of IEEE Computer Society. He received the IEEE Computer Society Golden Core award in 2020, and the UN Online Volunteer of the Year award in 2005.
