Avinash Ramachandran is currently in pursuit of Video Compression technologies that will fulfill the demands of next generation applications and experiences including high-resolution internet video streaming, gaming, television, Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality. These novel experiences demand very high quality, high-resolution video (UHD, 8K) at very low bandwidths and extremely low end-end delay in some cases. At NGCodec, in the San Francisco Bay Area, Avinash is focused on designing the next-gen encoding products with multiple codec technologies. Avinash has over 15 years working in the Video Compression Technology industry for CE and Broadcasting applications. He has completed his Exec MBA from Ivey Business School focusing on Global Strategy and Leadership. He has extensive PM experience and is a certified PMP. Earlier, he also completed his Master of Technology specializing in Digital Signal Processing from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM).
