Arturo Conde Enriquez received the B.Sc. degree in mechanical and electric engineering from Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico, in 1993 and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electric engineering from de Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, Mexico, in 1996 and 2002, respectively. Currently, he is a Professor of the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon and a member of the National Research System of Mexico. His research is about the protection and power quality of power systems, with areas of relay design, application of adaptive protection in transmission and distribution systems and on-line applications through distributed management systems of microgrids and smart grids.
