I'm a self-taught software engineer with hard-won experience using various web technologies and programming languages. My current favorite languages are Go and Rust, and Typescript, but I'm extremely interested in Haskell as well as Set Theory, and Category Theory. I thoroughly enjoy attempting TDD/BDD and wholeheartedly believe Unit, Integration, Acceptance, Property-Based, Fuzz, and End-to-End testing is no longer a nice-to-have, it is a MUST. Testing, verification, correctness, determinism, and reproducibility are critical! I'm currently studying the concepts behind & implementations of operating systems, interpreters, compilers, containers, design patterns, & designing and implementing distributed and concurrent systems. I also find Linux an endless source of fascination. My current learning journey is to improve my proficiency in Rust, Nix, TLA+, Alloy 6, systems programming, and formal methods and specification!
