Biography
Ahmed Naumaan worked in industry for more than a decade at multiple companies in both research and manufacturing sectors. He served in engineering and management roles researching solid-state sensors and managing product development and projects in several technology areas. From industry he moved to academia serving as faculty member and college dean at several online universities. At these institutions he managed degree programs in multiple areas and launched new degree programs in Computer Science, Data Science, and Computer Technology. Ahmed has been active with various professional societies and helped to organize several conferences and workshops. He has multiple publications and conference presentations and holds two patents. He received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati where his research focused on devices and materials for integrated optics.
