Interacting with technology changes our behavior? How has it changed your behavior?

A recent IEEE Spectrum article described how  How Smart Homes Alter Human Behavior.  This begs the larger question of how interacting with technology changes our behavior. What are some of the ways that interacting with technology has changed your behavior?

  • Interacting with tech has taught me to be more patient, or less patient, in dealing with others.
  • Interaction with tech has taught me to be more persistent in dealing with others
  • Interaction with tech has encouraged me to "do my own research" to solve my problems.
  • Having tech that obeys my commands has made me be more mindful of the impact of my actions.

How has technology made your life easier? How has it made your life harder? Has technology increased your stress?
