When will we see common consumer use of Virtual Reality(VR) devices? Why?
We have long seen posts about the impressive capabilities of new Virtual Reality devices - which have become much more capable. We also have long heard about emerging VR applications like the metaverse. However, VR devices haven't really expanded into consumer devices beyond gaming and they haven't really been adopted en mass by businesses. When will we see common consumer use of VR devices? What will unlock that change? Comment on what consumer area(s) you think might fare well for a more rapid or wide adoption.
