Today's AV technology is astounding. Do you still want to visit museums? Why?

A recent post encouraged people to not visit museums - but to visit other places instead. Part of the argument was that virtual museums are now so astounding that the value add of visiting a physical museum is small.  Do you still want to visit museums in person?  Why?
