In the IEEE Spectrum article Justine Bateman's Fight Against Generative AI In Hollywood., the actor, director, and computer scientist expresses some serious concerns about the impact of generative AI on the entertainment industry. At one point she remarks that its adopters and advocates "will all go down in the history books as having been the ones that ended the 100-year-old history— well, the 100-year-old entertainment business."
