Should we prevent explicit deepfakes from appearing on social media? How?

Recently, explicit deepfakes of singer/songwriter Taylor Swift were posted online. The social media platform on which they were posted responded by blocking searches for them.  Such postings may, at this time, be legal. This could happen to you, me, or our children. Should we prevent explicit deepfakes from appearing on social media? How?
