Robots are cheaper and more reliable than humans. Why are they not winning in the job market?

A recent post argued that In the Battle With Robots, Human Workers Are Winning, while citing an expert who opined that "Humans are pretty handily winning the job market. Job categories that a few years ago were said to be doomed by A.I. are doing just fine." Do you agree with this appraisal?  How do you account for the continued success of humans at tasks for which robots are less expensive and more dependable?
