Rhode Island mandates 100% renewable electricity by 2033. Is that realistic for your state?
The IEEE Spectrum post Rhode Island’s Renewable Energy Goal Is a Beacon for Other States notes that "Early in July, Rhode Island's governor signed legislation mandating that the state acquire 100 percent of its electricity from renewable sources by 2033." Rhode Island is a geographically small state with unusual potential for offshore wind. Is 100% renewable electricity by 2033 a realistic goal for your state? for your country? If not, why not?
