What are today's human/technology interactions teaching us about the brain?

What are today's human/technology interactions teaching us about the brain?  How might this make our lives better? Two recent IEEE Spectum articles,  AI Could Analyze Speech to Help Diagnose Alzheimer’s, and Stroke Rehabilitation Through Music, describe work by engineers that involves  interacting with the brain. Beyond their specific project goals, they are undoubtedly learning about the brain and shedding light on some of its mysteries. This likely has potential to benefit us beyond their specific project goals.  What are your thoughts?
