How do you feel about sharing the highway with autonomous cars and trucks?

About a year-and-a-half ago, my family purchase a Tesla and we have the option to buy or subscribe to self-driving. I've always been nervous about it (financially and putting that much control in a car). We all know that autonomous vehicles are coming. While we don't know when it may become more prevalent, it does seem clear that we will soon be sharing our highways with autonomous cars and trucks. Not everyone is comfortable with this - as reported in UK public want self-driving cars to be labelled. Are you?  What safety precautions, if any, do you desire before sharing the highways with autonomous vehicles?
