Given fake news/images/books, deepfake videos... How do you know you aren't living in a fake world?

I recently saw a post about a fake book full of fake images of fake people.  Given that we live in a world with fake news, digitally altered images, deepfake videos and fake books...  How do you know you aren't living in a fake world?
