What "human" rights should AI have? Recognition as an inventor? Responsibility for its mistakes?
The courts have been arguing about whether Artificial Intelligence can be recognized as an inventor. Some say yes and some say no. As AI technology advances, the case for AI rights will grow stronger. What "human" rights should AI have? Recognition as an inventor, a songwriter, an artist, an author? Responsibility for its own mistakes?
- All of the above. If AI does it, it should get the credit and responsibility for it.
- Freedom of speech and freedom of religion, which are already awarded to businesses in the US.
- None of the above. Only humans deserve human rights.
