Hi everyone!

I'm excited to share that I've been selected as the "IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Day Ambassador for 2024". I'm Harini N from Chennai,India.I'm representing the "IEEE St. Joseph's College of Engineering Student Branch Chapter as its Chairperson for 2024". It makes me really happy to be a part of such a lively group of people who love engineering and technology.

Being chosen as the WIE Day Ambassador is a big deal for me. It means I'm committed to making engineering more inclusive and empowering, especially for women. As a young woman in STEM, I know how important it is to see people like you in the field and to have support from others. Through things like IEEE WIE Day, we can make sure women in engineering are heard, celebrate what they achieve, and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.

At IEEE SJCE SB, we're all about creating a friendly place where everyone, no matter their gender, feels encouraged to chase their dreams and be their best selves. Our group works hard to organize events and activities that promote diversity, fairness, and togetherness in STEM. From fun workshops to meet-ups and community projects, we want to make a real difference in people's lives.

Taking part in IEEE WIE Day isn't just about clapping for women's achievements—it's about recognizing the hurdles they face and working together to overcome them. When we come together on this special day, we're saying we're all in this together, and we're going to make engineering a fairer, more colorful place. I'm proud to be part of this celebration and can't wait to inspire change, lift people up, and spread some good vibes.
